ANME promotes a national network of school museums and a distributed national collection of archival material held in schools and school museums throughout Australia. By joining the ANME and the National Register of School Museums you help us achieve our vision.
Across the nation, there are countless school museums. The ANME aims to count them.
Some museums are housed in heritage school buildings. Some are preserved in a pioneer village. Some are part of a larger project to preserve their community’s heritage.
If you are involved in an organisation that is dedicated to preserving and celebrating your community’s educational heritage, we encourage you to ask your organisation to apply to join our National Register of School Museums.
Enjoy the benefits of membership with ANME.
Just complete our online registration form below. Enter your contact details and then, under 'Area of Enquiry', select 'Become a Member. You will need to supply details about your museum including:
Once we've received and processed your application, you will be asked to commit to the payment of a once-off joining fee of $50 and an annual review of your listing on the National Register.
