There is always something to do on the UC campus. Here are all the different branches of the UCX family and how they can elevate your student experience here.
Your go-to destination for what’s happening around campus. Explore events and student activities including movie nights, university parties and O-Week. Keep up to date with what’s on through their social media channels.
Catch musical performances and comedy shows live on campus every month at the Refectory or UC Hub. With acts from Aussie bands like Jet and San Cisco, and comedian Nat’s What I Reckon, UCLive events offer a great way to immerse yourself in Australian culture.
Join lunchtime workout sessions, box-fit classes or gain access to the UCFit facilities including weights and cardio equipment, badminton and squash courts, and table tennis.
Need a space for an event? UCEvents can help you out, with the Ann Harding Conference Centre available, hosting everything from art exhibitions, food festivals and faculty events. Contact UCEvents for more information on booking, hosting or attending an event at the Centre.
Stock up on everything you need to study like stationary, textbooks or required course material right on campus. You’ll also find work placement uniforms and UC-branded merch like hoodies and tees. If you can’t make it there in person, shop online.
Located below Cooper Lodge, UCBar is UC’s on-campus bar - a fun venue found at most Australian universities. Open Monday to Saturday, grab a bite to eat and a drink with friends, and enjoy special events like musical bingo on Monday of week 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13, screenings of the latest sports match or test your knowledge at trivia every Tuesday.
Hungry? Fuel up at the two on-campus eateries – The Noshery and Global Kitchen. Find affordable salads, wraps and toasties with plenty of sweet treat options at The Noshery or try a wide range of international cuisine from India, China, Mexico and America at Global Kitchen.
Get access to free food supplies including non-perishable pantry items and fresh fruit and vegetables every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You can also volunteer one hour of your time at the Food Pantry to help stock shelves and serve students - it’s a great way to meet more students and experience to put on your resume.
Take part in social sports or national competitions with UC Sport. Choose from football, netball, volleyball, table tennis, rugby league, tennis and more, or represent UC at a selection of national-standard sporting competitions.
Enter the world of virtual gaming at this premier venue with Xboxes, PlayStations, Nintendo Switches and PCs available to use seven days a week. Look out for gaming marathons and tournaments on their social media pages.
