World Refugee Day Morning Tea
UC Student Equity and Participation warmly invites you to join us for a morning tea in recognition of World Refugee Day.
World Refugee Day, observed on Saturday 20 June, honours the courage, strength, and resilience of people who have been displaced from their home countries. Our UC community is enriched by these individuals, who contribute to our identity and strengthen the fabric of our university.
This informal gathering is an opportunity for our community to come together over a cup of tea, acknowledge the significance of the day, celebrate our students, and recognise the teams who support them.
This is open to students, staff and wider community
UC acknowledges the Ngunnawal people, traditional custodians of the lands where Bruce campus is situated. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of Canberra and the region. We also acknowledge all other First Nations Peoples on whose lands we gather.
