Please join us on Tuesday 16 June 2026 at 9:00am - 10:00am AEST for the launch of the Digital News Report: Australia 2026.
This report is part of a long-running international survey coordinated by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University. The News and Media Research Centre at the University of Canberra is the Australian partner institute. This marks the twelfth annual edition of the DNR Australia report.
This year’s report looks into behaviours and attitudes towards trust, AI use in news, news influencers, and public service media.
Professor Sora Park, the lead author of the report, will highlight the key findings from this year’s study. Following this, Dr Caroline Fisher will host a discussion with our expert panel including:
