Wear it Purple Drag Karaoke
An initiative to support young people in the LGBTIQA+ community, Wear It Purple Day on Friday 29 August draws on the power of loving support – and your closet.
Don any and all shades of purple on the day, to show your support and celebrate inclusivity, diversity and the freedom to just be.
And come on down for Wear It Purple Day Karaoke, 4-6pm at UCBarx. – there will be drag performances, face painting from the SRC, and heaps of musical fun. Pick up a mic and make it fabulous, or come along to cheer your friends on. Especially meaningful since this year’s Wear It Purple theme is Bold Voices, Bright Futures!
