University is a great place for reading and learning! How about putting aside some time for learning about Jesus?
'Reading about Jesus' is an opportunity to join with others and read through the Bible’s accounts of Jesus, to discuss and learn together. Held on FRIDAY of each week, 1-2pm, via Microsoft Teams or in 1C152.
Anyone is welcome – you may be a long-time Christian, or just someone (of other faith or no faith) who would like to read about Jesus with others.
We are currently holding the activity online using Microsoft Teams and also meeting in-person at the same time in 1C152, as a mixed-mode event.
If you are interested in joining the activity please contact the organiser, Craig Johnson, to confirm the online details or location.
This free event is organised by one of the UC Chaplains, Pastor Craig Johnson. Contact Craig for more information about this activity.
The Multi-Faith Centre provides friendly chaplains who are available to chat about any concerns regardless of your faith or belief, or just as another person to talk to about how everything is going. UC Chaplains are volunteers from the community, with training in spiritual support and pastoral care. The Chaplain's Office is room 1C70 (opposite Careers UC, above the UC Refectory).
UC acknowledges the Ngunnawal people, traditional custodians of the lands where Bruce campus is situated. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of Canberra and the region. We also acknowledge all other First Nations Peoples on whose lands we gather.
