Clean Up Australia Day
Clean Up Australia Day first began in 1990, and has grown since then with an annual national event on the first Sunday in March.
UC has registered for our Clean Up Australia Clean up, on Wednesday 6th March. https://register.cleanup.org.au/fundraisers/cleaningcanberraeduau/uni-of-canberra
So let's come together as a university community to take action for a cleaner, healthier environment. Join us on the concourse at 11:00 AM on Wednesday March 6th for a collective effort to clean up our campus.
Additional Information
- Meeting Point: The Concourse outside the Refectory, where we'll gather before dispersing to clean up designated areas.
- What to Bring: Please wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor work. We'll provide gloves and bags for collecting rubbish.
- RSVP: Your commitment to participating in this event is greatly appreciated. Please register to join the University of Canberra clean up site via the book now button below by March 5th to ensure we have enough supplies for all participants.
Note: In case of adverse weather conditions, the event may be rescheduled. Updates will be communicated accordingly.
