Student Equity and Participation is offering a free holiday program for current UC students with children aged 5-12 years.
The SSAF-sponsored program will be staffed by full-time and casual members of the Aspire UC component of the Student Equity and Participation team. All staff have a valid Working with Vulnerable People Card.
To be eligible for the free program, parents must be currently enrolled in a course at UC. The program is offered to children aged 5-12 years, with a maximum of 12 participants per day. You can book multiple children in for one of the three days we are offering the program.
The days will be themed as follows:
Morning session (9:30 am to 12:00 pm): "Busy Bees". Make your own terrarium, paint a garden gnome and explore the UC campus on a sustainability scavenger hunt.
Afternoon session (1:00-3:30 pm): "The Art of Light and Shadow". Paint chalk shadows, create cyanotypes and make your own lantern in this arts-based session.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
Please note that parents/carers must be at the University of Canberra campus while their child/ren is participating in school holiday program activities.
