UC EVENTS

Looking for people to play pick-up games with while here on campus? This is the perfect chance to challenge your mates, meet some new ones and have a bit of fun! UC Sport and UC Lifex are teaming up for the ultimate 3x3 Hoops event, with a food truck, music and most importantly, basketball! 

Hoops Under Lights happens next to Building 4 on the 3x3 courts there where there’s friendly and slightly competitive short games of 8 minutes. The courts are relatively easy to access although there are a couple of steps to get there. There will be a DJ playing music also onsite and lots of loud noises with the music, whistles and basketballers. 

The Social Intensity Scale for this is 3/5 as the only interaction you will have will be through the team you are and the other attendees you compete against, however there won’t be much time for smack talking as you’ll be too busy playing. 

We are always flexible and willing to work with our students so we want to hear from you if there are any accessibility requirements that will make it easier to attend our event!
