Little Ray of Sunshine is inspired by my own youngest sister, who is always full of joy and energy. The artwork itself is an interpretation of a photograph I have of her. To capture her energy, I have created this digital painting in the style of Japanese contemporary manga style. This is because their signature use of dynamic line of action, angle of view, outline and colour are perfect to form a scene that tells a story of a young child excitedly chasing bubbles.
