Tyre Ratchet Gun

In my design and immerging technology class I was challenged to redesign a product and address any present faults in its most recent design. I chose the path of motorsport and designed a cordless tyre gun that addresses the safety hazard of loose airlines. I choose to do this because I have seen so much development in the cars used in motorsport and the safety has improved in this technology. But very little has improved in the technology that is used by the crew mates working on the car at a pit stop. My new design was aimed at trying to limit the use of air lines at motor sporting events. The concept is cordless removing the safety hazard with a new battery and air canister design still adding to the quick efficiency of a pneumatic gun. from this design I have generated a working prototype that utilises the componentry of a drill. I designed it all on tinker cad to the exact specifications of the parts before printing it off and clipping it together.
