The overall design brief was to design a deck of cards with the integration and influence of Bauhaus characteristics. By researching artists and designers during the Bauhaus era I was able to adapt my drawing and sketching skills to to creatively respond to their work. The many drawings created were then allocated to the suit and face cards. Different colours used throughout the Bauhaus era were evident in the final product. The cards were printed on double sided matte stock which was 310gsm and additionally corners were cut using a royal trimmer. The other designs and drawings created during the initial design process were then used to design and create the packet. My final product is something I am extremely proud of and believe they represent and reflect the Bauhaus designs and motives taught by the prestigious design school.
