This is a digital painting I created on Procreate for an art assignment for school. The assignment was to create a piece of art based around what Australia is to you. For this assignment I based it around wildlife and plants. The wildlife is a mixture of animals that you can find anywhere such as the kangaroos, but to make it more personal to me I added my Blue Heeler Bindi in the middle to be the focus point of the art. As for plants I have a bottle brush and a mixture of many different Australian elements. In class we were learning about different arts found in different cultures, we learnt about mandalas. I absolutely loved learning and then creating my own. I used this to create the patterns and designs in the background. This is one of my favourite artworks that I have created.
