Vice-Chancellor's Social Champion Scholarship
Overview
Awarded to international students intending to commence at UC in Semester 1 2023, who exhibit UC's core values and demonstrate a commitment to social engagement, sustainability and reducing inequalities. Scholarship is valued up to $50,000 per year. More information is available at Vice-Chancellor's Social Champion Scholarship website.
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a new commencing student applying for a Semester 1 2023 course commencement
- Hold any form of offer letter (including conditional or provisional offer) issued by the University of Canberra
- Meet a minimum of 80% average in program academic requirements met a(or equivalent)
- Be a full time student
- Be offshore
- Be a Bruce campus student only
- Apply to study on an Australian student visa subclass 500
Articulation, sponsored and diplomatic students are not eligible.
Scholarship is available to the primary visa applicant - dependants not eligible for the scholarship, or able to accompany the primary visa applicant.

Apply for a UC course commencing Semester 1 2023 and receive an offer letter.
Click on the Apply Now button and complete the scholarships application form before the published deadline. You can only submit one scholarship application each round, but the good news is that the Scholarships Office will make sure that you are assessed for all the scholarships that you fit the criteria for.
Wait for the Scholarships Office to contact you with an outcome from your application.
