"Being Aboriginal Online"

The struggle for self-determination and cultural identity was the motivation for writing this thesis: “From Homo Sacer to Subaltern: Becoming Aboriginal Online.” Wayne, along with thousands of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders people now use social media to reconnect with culture. Learning of the horrors and the bravery of the resistance. Learning of the genocide the massacres and breading out colour. Of the colonial project the enslavement of the black man and take his land. Finally the politics of becoming Aboriginal online.
