Snow Scholarships will be awarded to up to 16 students each year who will receive financial and holistic wrap-around support for the duration of their full-time degree.
Snow scholars will benefit from an inclusive cohort that reflects a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, ages, genders, and academic results, allowing them to thrive in a supportive and stimulating environment where they can learn from each other.
We are seeking students with passion, motivation, leadership potential and a commitment to social purpose, who aspire to the student attributes. All students are expected to achieve the required ATAR for their degree. Some students will be high academic achievers, and others may enter through the Univerity of Canberra's alternate pathway programs.
To assist students from regional/rural areas, low socio-economic backgrounds, those living with disabilities or medical conditions, and those with sole parent or caregiving responsibilities.
To assist Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students.

As a Snow scholar, you will be part of a vibrant, close-knit community. At the heart of this community is the inclusive and diverse cohort, one that will grow each year.
The Snow Centre is the dedicated on-campus space where scholars can come together, to connect, have conversations, and collaborate. It will serve as a hub for both academic support and personal growth, fostering a sense of belonging where scholars from Canberra and regional/rural NSW can learn from one another.
As a Snow Scholar from Canberra or regional/rural NSW, you'll embody diverse qualities that align with the attributes. While we don't anticipate you possessing every attribute from the start, you will develop them throughout your journey. You'll be evaluated based on these criteria in the application process.

Applications for the Snow Scholarships will open in mid-2025, with successful applicants starting their studies in Semester 1, 2026.
