Lockdown activities

We understand that for many students in our community the impacts of COVID-19, travel restrictions and border closures are taking a significant toll on your connectedness to UC.

Though you might not be able to come to campus right now, we want you to know that we are here to support you through it all. We want to make sure you can continue to engage meaningfully with the UC community and campus, both through your studies and through social and cultural activities.

Our teams have worked together to develop a series of activities and programs that give you the opportunity to check-in, connect and collaborate. We hope that these programs will support you through the remainder of your studies in Sem 2 and set you up for success in the months and years ahead.

All students can attend these virtual events, academic programs and access UC support services over Semester 2. We hope you can join us!

The Resilience Project

On behalf of our Alumni and Community Engagement division, we are pleased to be able to bring to students a special offer to participate in the Resilience Project, a storytelling series which presents strategies to manage wellbeing and build resilience in daily life.

The program is comprised of 10 short videos (2-3 minutes), each of which focus on a key factor to maintaining healthy wellbeing. Each week starting on Tuesday 12 October 2021, we will bring you a new video in the series which will help you to find ways to practice mindfulness and manage your wellbeing in every day life.

If you feel like discussing the videos with others and how you can put these lessons into practice, drop-in to our weekly sessions with the Wellbeing team each Wednesday. See details for the Wellbeing drop-in below.

We look forward to empowering students with they need to thrive.

Every Tuesday, starting  12 October

Videos released approximately 3 pm.

Videos will be made available in the Student Support Hub site.
