16 February 2018: Orientation Week saw the University of Canberra welcome more than 12,000 new and returning students to campus. The event, held from 5 – 9 February is designed to help students to settle in and get ready for study and university life.
Activities and events on offer included a welcome breakfast, course advice sessions, a carnival, beach party, speed friending, and the inaugural Tune in UC concert featuring The Rubens. Alumnus and co-founder of OK RDY, a mentorship and skilled-volunteer matching program, Tim McKay delivered the 2018 commencement address.
