30 October 2014: More than 200 staff and students joined Vice-Chancellor Stephen Parker at a morning tea on campus yesterday to celebrate the University of Canberra's 46th birthday.
The event, organised by the UC Foundation, was also held to officially launch the University's workplace giving program, which encourages staff to make a donation towards the University Endowment.
"The endowment will support the University's mission and strategic direction with the interest earned supporting our great endeavours," Professor Parker said.
The endowment will be used for scholarship programs, priority projects and infrastructure.
