Rotary recognition for UC staff

1 December 2014: Three University of Canberra staff have been awarded Rotary Pride of Workmanship Awards from the Rotary Club of Ginninderra, to recognise their outstanding work for the University.

Kim Barton, Sharon McCabe and Melanie Kovacs received the awards at a ceremony on 28 October.

Ms Barton from Payroll was recognised for her consistent high quality work and her contribution during the transition of Payroll from Human Resources into the Finance and Business Services unit.

Ms Kovacs from the Student Engagement team was recognised for her leadership and for her dedication to the University, its students and staff.

Ms McCabe, from the Compliance Reporting team, received her award to acknowledge her dedication and consistently high standard of work and in recognition of the mentoring she provides to other staff.

This is the third year that the University has been invited to participate in the Pride of Workmanship Awards, which are awarded annually by the Rotary Club of Ginninderra.
