UC celebrates women in chemistry at Global Women's Breakfast

12 February 2020: Women in chemistry are coming together from all over the world for the IUPAC100 Global Women’s Breakfast: Empowering Women in Science this Wednesday 12 February 2020. The University of Canberra will be participating in this global phenomenon with prominent scientists from UC and major companies addressing the event.

The Global Women’s Breakfast is designed to get women chemists together to expand their network of contacts, both locally and internationally. It gives women the chance to explore opportunities in professional development, research and teaching.

Prominent scientists, including Professor Janine Deakin, Director of UC’s Institute for Applied Ecology, and Professor Reena Ghildyal, UC’s Head of School of Science, are amongst the speakers at the breakfast.
