Biography

Cate has worked as a paediatric occupational therapist for over 20 years. She has worked at the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) and the University of Canberra (UC) in clinical education and sessional course coordinator positions. She has received numerous clinical education and team-teaching awards. Cate has previously worked in the ACT for the ACT government and in non-goverment and rural services across NSW and the ACT. Cate's professional interests include developing student competence through clinical education, reflective practice and she is undertaking a PhD investigating the application of Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance Approach™ (CO-OP) with children with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
